The Story of

TLC’s Half Baked Goods

From a loving wife and mother to a successful small business owner in my own community… let me introduce myself. My name is Lori Bergsman, and I own and operate TLC's Half Baked Goods located in Berks County, PA.

Before TLC’s

I was married for almost 30 years, and together we had two amazing children. When I became a widow in 2016, I felt that I lost my purpose. Despite the series of events that led me to this, I pushed forward to become the successful, small business owner that I am today.

How it started

With the help of my son’s creative culinary skills as a chef, his best friend's pastry chef experience, and my own passion for baking, we came up with the idea of making tasty, freshly baked, made-from-scratch treats and share them with our friends, family and people of our community…enter TLC’s Half Baked Goods.

Joining the Market

After participating in a few shows at the Leesport Market, a bakery stand became available inside their market house, and it was a clear sign to proceed forward to fully launch TLC's Half Baked Goods. With the help of my family, we took a clean space and built a vibrant blue and purple bakery stand located right in the front of Building One at the Leesport Farmers Market.

And now

After three years at the Leesport Market, we have expanded to many more events, as well as personal orders and event catering! We continue to open our stand at the Leesport Market every Wednesday from 8AM to 7PM. We are always taking orders for all types of events and occasions. Our menu has always included a wide variety of baked goods, and it’s forever growing!
